Most initial inquiries and introductory consultations are complimentary and therefore no payment — and no refund — is applicable.

1. When This Policy Applies

This policy applies only to fees paid directly to Best Auto Insurance Guides for consulting services (e.g., extended policy review packages, written comparison reports, or scheduled advisory sessions) when a fee was quoted and paid in advance. Free consultations, general information on the Site, and phone/email guidance provided at no charge are not subject to refunds.

2. Eligibility & Timeframes

• Before work begins: If you paid for a consulting package but we have not yet started the analysis or session, you are eligible for a 100% refund if you request cancellation within 48 hours of payment.
• After work begins but before delivery: If analysis has started (e.g., we’ve reviewed documents, begun research, or held the first session), you may receive a 50% refund if requested within 3 business days of payment.
• After delivery/completion: Once the consulting deliverable has been provided (report, session completed, recommendations sent), fees are considered earned and are non-refundable, except as required by law or in cases of duplicate/erroneous charge.

“Work begins” includes: reviewing your submitted quotes/declarations pages, researching options, or conducting a scheduled call.

3. How to Request a Refund

We will acknowledge within 1–2 business days and resolve within 5–7 business days after receiving all details.

4. Refund Method & Timing

• Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method only.
• Processing time depends on your bank/payment processor — typically 5–10 business days after we issue the refund.
• We do not issue refunds in cash, to alternate accounts, or via gift cards.

5. Non-Refundable Situations

• Services already delivered/completed as described in your package.
• Fees for no-show or late cancellation (less than 24 hours) of a scheduled advisory session — session is considered used.
• Insurance premiums, carrier fees, DMV fees, or third-party charges — we do not control those; contact the carrier directly.
• Requests made outside the timeframes above.

6. Duplicate or Erroneous Charges

If you were charged twice or charged in error, notify us immediately at info@autoinsurancedesk.com. We will investigate and, if confirmed, issue a full correction promptly, regardless of the standard timeframes.

7. Satisfaction Commitment

We want you to be satisfied. If you have concerns about quality or clarity, please contact us — even after the refund window. We will review case-by-case and may offer at no charge: clarification call, revised analysis, or partial credit toward future consulting, where appropriate. This does not guarantee a refund but reflects our commitment to service.

8. Cancellation of Scheduled Sessions

• Reschedule/cancel at least 24 hours before your session for no fee.
• Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows are non-refundable but may be rescheduled once at our discretion.
